As you have seen lately, predator hunters are under continuous attacks from anti hunting organizations to ban coyote calling competitions and limit recreational
hunting opportunities for bears and lions. The Department of Wildlife and the Commission have brought forth some very controversial regulations with thermal restrictions, and range finding equipment that require our attention and participation to protect our hunting privileges. Wolves are in Nevada and will soon require a management plan that can not duplicate
what we see in California, if wildlife is expected to thrive in Nevada.
The NPHA is part of the Coalition for Nevada's Wildlife and this partnership helps unite predator hunters with other groups so we can stand together to oppose or support the issues that can affect us in all aspects of hunting, trapping or fishing.
Regulation Through Knowledge
Unfortunately these efforts have costs associated to them and memberships, donations and other fund raising activities are needed to protect our wildlife and hunting privileges. The NPHA was founded as a 501 C4 so we could specifically endorse and contribute to
political campaigns to elect the people who will vote in our favor and lobby for the policies we support and want passed. We can only succeed if we have financial support and member participation when we have to defend or fight for something we want. Thank You.
